NOVA Council of the Navy League is hosting a Sunday brunch with some the great crew members of the USS Alexandria (SSN 757), and you're invited.  Space is limited, so make your reservation early:   send email to duanewills@cox.net.   Alexandria is one of NOVA Council's adopted ships, Date: February 17, 2008- Sunday Time: 12:00 noon until about 3:00PM Location: Joe Theismann’s Restaurant 1800 Diagonal Road Alexandria, Va. 22314 Across from the King St. Metro stop Cost:  $20.00 per person -- Menu “No Host” Bar (Pay Nancy Gorell at the brunch -- make checks payable to "NOVA NLUS") Parking: Metered parking is free all day Sunday. Garage parking next door, which is free for 3hrs after 5 pm and all day & night on weekends. The fee after 3 hours is $4.00. We cannot validate parking in the garage during the weekday, only on weekends and evenings for 3 hrs. Parking garage entrance is on Diagonal Road and marked with a sign. At bottom of entrance ramp, proceed to lower back left corner of garage. Entrance to Joe’s from the garage is marked on the door.
